Are we there yet ?

Its now been 20 months since we hit the road full time. We have completed a half lap anticlockwise starting from Melbourne, and just spent the last 6 weeks finalizing the upgrades to both our Y62 and caravan. We have been asked are we done with travel yet, the very quick and short answer is "No Bloody Way". We are only just getting into the swing of things and have loved every second of the journey so far. This amazing country of ours has so much to see and do, you could spend a lifetime traveling the length and breadth of it and still not see everything .

What's next you ask, well the west is calling loud and clear and after spending some time with family this Christmas in SA, we are heading across the Nullarbor into WA . We have no plans on how long we will be in WA but Tracy and I think we will most likely spend over 12 months exploring WA before heading back over the top into the NT.

We are going to take our time crossing the Nullarbor and try and travel when the wind is at its lowest . If it is blowing a gale we will find a camp spot to wait it out, and then move on when the wind is lower or giving us a tail wind (yes I know wishful thinking). That is the benefit of not having plans or a time table to keep to.

So "Are we there Yet", not by a long shot.
